About D&S

Originally D&S Wares was just 2 young boys (Dan and Steve) programming out of their homes of a weekend for the fun of it. As time went on thier popularity grew in the programming world (well the forums they visited at least), this fame brought about them creating several small tech demos and mini games for different programming languages. These tech demos became widely popular and soon became frequently referenced by the community which helped the ever growing popularity of these 2 boys boom.

In Nov of 2000 they were in such demand for help and advice they decided to start a website dedicated to their demos, guides, and code snippets. When creating the site they had no idea what to call it, or how to lay out it which is when Steve came up with the idea to start buisness. Being the creative pair they are, Daniel and Steve took the first letters from both their names and added the word "wares" after it. This is how D&S Wares was born

Not long after forming, several other programmers, designers, and techos wished to join which Steve and Dan originally agreed to. The new form team was known as "Body Soft& a name created by Steve which was a pun on the physical shape and health of the rest of the team. Body Soft landed itself a big contract working for a company in the UK developing a game version of the show ART ATTACK. Unfortunatly this fell through due to floods in the offices of the people contracting the team, this was also the end of Body Soft and the resurection of D&S Wares

The boys continued to work for an extend period of time doing small games and little demos for other people to use, until the lure of money forced their hand to give up games programmer and become web developers. Finding that there was a major lack of decent programmers creating websites and that the market was cornered by kiddy scripters and newbies D&S wares were able to busrt onto the scene in fine style. On hearing that D&S was going soft and doing web work, they were picked up by a US company to create, upgrade, and repair several of their major sites. Before their work was finished here, they were offered another job for a Hong Kong company to get their sites running better and to help increase their conversion rate.

After doing this for some time for other companies D&S wares realised that their abilities have been going to waste helping other people profit. At this point they decided to go out on their own and start working on their own tools, sites, and applications to start selling. So this is where D&S Wares are today, 2 elite programmers starting from scratch trying to prove their skills on their own to the world. The ultimate goal to make software and sites which will help people while making them rich at the same time.
